Pemberstone has undertaken many development projects both in partnership and on its own; the projects have included tenanted investments, house building and land assembly with planning. The sites have ranged across the country in a wide variety of locations.
Pemberstone retains long term rental property in its portfolio mix along with strategic land holdings.
Innovative Freehold Reversions Project
Pemberstone's significant portfolio of freehold ground rent interests has in large part been built up by working with developers in the course of a new build development to provide a disposal solution in an efficient and highly flexible way. With one particular residential developer, Pemberstone has entered into 6 such purchase transactions involving in total over 50 sites, over an 8 year period. By working closely together and structuring the transactions in innovative ways (some quite differently from each other and all in contrast to traditional property purchases) both parties have benefited. The freeholds acquired have included both large city centre urban regeneration schemes and suburban new build blocks, many of which have had mixed use elements.
